    Hi All,
My Grandmother is considering upgrading her digital and had a question that I can't answer. (Umm yea my "grandma" not me- but her:D)

I WANT TO KNOW IF THERE IS ANY WAY THAT CANON 100-400 ZOOM LENS WILL WORK ON THE SONY SLR DIGITAL CAMERA 10.2 MP.

Thanks in advance for any info.

    No. They're completely different mounts.

The Sony uses the Minolta lens mount and the Canon lens obviously has a Canon mount. Is it a Canon EF lens or an FD lens? There is a difference and they are not compatible either.

You can sometimes find adapter mount rings that allow you to mount one style to another...but you will loose things like auto focus or metering....usually not worth the hassle unless the lens is really spectacular.
