Lens for Canon 600D

Hello All!

Hope you are having a fantastic day!

My brother's birthday is coming soon and I want to gift him a nice lens for his 6D camera. As I'm not an expert in this field I don't want to buy a lens that would be of no use to him.

Just to give you an idea, he is into street photography and already acquires two basic lenses.

Can you please give me some suggestions of good lenses with a reasonable price.

Unfortunately "two basic lenses" doesn't mean a lot. There are so many different lenses available, and many of them overlap in terms of aperture, focal length, etc.. My recommendation would be to either get him a gift certificate from whichever store he's likely to purchase from, or simply tell him you want to buy him a lens of up to $XXX dollars, and let him pick his own.
