I am going to be the second photographer at a friend's wedding. What lens would you guys suggest I use for my Nikon D50 for the shoot? What's a good lens so that I don't have to switch between lens?

you're gonna want a telephoto and a wide angle at least.

What is the first photographer shooting? Is there a certain focal length or style they tend to stick with? If so, try to pick something that will fill in any gap. If they shoot a fairly wide spectrum, maybe pick one lens, like a 50mm, and shoot that the entire time for consistancy.

17-55 or 28-70 Nikkors.

I have the:
Tamron Autofocus 28-80mm f/3.5-5.6 Aspherical Autofocus zoom lens
Tamron 70-300mm f/4-5.6 LD 1:2 Macro Autofocus Zoom Lens
Can i use any of these?

Sure, you can use them, but they are pretty slow lenses. You'll need a good flash for the low light of a wedding. If you're going to be outside you'll be better off.

How about this lens?
NIKON AF NIKKOR 28-100mm f3.5-5.6G LENS?
Part of the wedding is outdoors but then the reception is indoors at night.
