Lens Question

I have a Sigma 28-80mm f/3.5-5.6 II Lens. It says Zoom macro on it, im sort of new to photography, but i have some knowledge. I am just unsure if this lens is any decent or should I sell it and get a better one. It has a little switch to go to macro at 80mm focal length, if that helps. Also is a cannon AF mount.

I don't know much about that lens in particular, I'm sure you can Google it and find a review or two.
