Lens

This is a very tough question. I really do not know whether you should or not.

What kind of price are you wanting to pay for it?

If you can get it for $125.00 or less, okay, pay any more for that is too much, imho.

well used on B&H its like 60 bucks so what do yah think

That's a good price, Sigma and Tamron variable f/2.8's in comparable focal length range go for around $80.00 - $120.00 in this area.

How did I know that the lens doesn't go to 2.8?

Go back and "read" your first post, and the link to made....

You link to a the lens that does go 2.8 - 4, the lens shown inside the link does go to 2.8-4...

So, silly me, I thought you were referring to f/2.8-4 lens. Guess I shouldn't take you so literally, I need to learn to read your mind.

Anytime you can get a 2.8 lens, even variable, if it is in good condition, for that price I would buy it. You can always sell or trade for more than $60.00 if you don't like it.
