Lense Debris

I have these dust or grit build up on my lens front in the area gap the lens itself and the plastic housing and I was wondering should they be removed and if so how.

I would used compressed air if it bothered me but it wouldn't bother me.

Well, I definitely would not recommend compressed air under any circumstances. If your really bothered by it a squeeze bulb or a good huff of air from your own lungs would be a much better choice.

Microfiber cloth can do wonders as well. Honestly for me my thought process is unless it effects image quality, I just leave it alone.
