Lense Help

thanks everyone.... i am sorry for the confusion but i meant up to $500. I would want this lens for outdoor shooting of sporting events. and yes i would want to shoot on days where it wasnt totally sunny.

Look into Sigma 150-500mm OS, it's goin for 999$ on amazon, and it has great reviews and optical stabilization!

Sigma 70-200 2.8 with 1.4x teleconverter. Any lens that is good with a long focal range will run you way high with the dollar signs. Maybe save up some more so you can start out at best.

Check out the Nikon 70-300 VR. (Not the el cheapo non-VR version)

I love mine, and it's damned sharp at like f8. (WARNING: Large file)
