Lense Trouble

Hello.

I was wonering if anyone could help me out with this...

When I go to take a picture on zoom, especially, there are what seems to be dark smears everywhere, Im not sure what it is, so I would appreciate it if someone could help me out...

It looks like dust on either the lens or the sensor if you are shooting digital.

This is what I use.

Looks like dust on the sensor to me.
If it is, you'll probably notice that at smaller apertures like f22 the specks are more prominent. At wider apertures like 2.8 they might even disappear completely.

And your aperture size decreases the further down the focal length you get, hence why the problem seems more apparent when using the zoom.
