I just want to know what you think of Tamron and Quantray lenses?

I've used Tamron zoom lenses extensively (although I don't currently own any), and found them to be as good as any other brand's zoom lenses. Tamron makes Bronica medium format gear, while cheaper, and possibly "uncool" (compared to say Hassy), are fantastic professional cameras and lenses.

I have heard from people that worked at the chain that sells Quantaray lenses that you should definitely try before you buy.

You can find a nice one, but quality control isn't as high as other brands, at least according to this person.

As for Tamron, they seem to get very good reviews. I'd still take my camera in and at least look through it before I bought.

I don't have any links, but I believe I read somewhere that Quantaray lenses are rebranded Sigma lenses, nothing wrong with that, I don't suppose.
