This has got to be my best butterfly shots to date.

I coughed up 20$ to get into my local zoo today. Despite the Zoo being overly crowded i had a good time. Almost all the exhibits were too crowded and all the glass was filthy even if one did manage to compose a shot.

So I headed the direction I had planned. straight to the butterfly sanctuary area. I managed to bear the sweltering heat for about 45 minutes. The humidity was stifling. But I did come out dripping with sweat and a few good shots to share.

This first guy actually landed on my arm and sucked my blood I think

Nice macros. The butterfly looks psycho in that first pic. The second is my fave - I like the colours and the rolled up tongue

I was going to say the second one but I would of liked to see more of the creature in it. At reading the title, I thought it was going to be about the dog breed, papillon
