We have been getting pounded with rain here recently. It finally quit long enough for me to take out the new camera. I made a very beginner mistake...I never checked the iso and left it on 1000 the whole day. Oh well, lesson learned. Here is a pic from the day. Let me know what you think.

Anymore c&c? I really like this picture but I am always interested in what I could have done different to make the picture better.

That is a great shot!
Do you mind if i see the EXIF data? Ive tried to do a very similar picture but have never gotten the light rays like you have. It's definitely tricky

Thanks for the comment. Exif value as follows...

S 1/160
F 29
ISO 1000 :s
32mm

Don't feel bad. It has taken me a long time (and many mistakes) finally to remember to check my ISO before going out shooting...

Frankly I wish my camera had a "Reset to ISO 100 on power-down" option.

Lol yeah a reset iso would be great. Mine has a reset button but it resets everything so I don't use it.

Beautiful shot - I have yet to get a photo of a sunburst that I'm happy with.
