    Here is the B&W version of my Yucca plant....I got the idea of zooming in on the yucca from a photography book...hope it looks okay. I really like it in both color and b&w

    Nice shot. I really like it in B&W. The vertical leaves are pleasing to the eye. Nice contrast.

    I agree. Excellent composition, lighting, exposure. Very pleasing line, shape, tone.

    I'm with everybody else, very esthetic photo, but please get rid of the black frame, it disn't add nything to the photo, it is just distracting,

    Thank you everyone...I really appreciate the kind words. Here is the pic without the border...I was laying down on concrete in the Texas heat using my elbow to steady my arm and camera.

    Muuuch better, i would up the contrast too, but keep in mind that these are also personal and subjectuve preferences,

    I like it, but I think it could use a touch more DOF.
    I would also boost the contrast even more (personal preference).

    If you do increase contrast, please do not let it be at the expense of the wonderful detail your image contains.
