Well I went out into the garden today, and decided to macro a few insects and textures, I tried to get a shot of a bee but it kept moving, after 20min I gave up.
What you think?

Hmph. Don't like the insects that much when they are squished and dead ... or drowned or half-drowned. But the green you captured in some of your photos ...... :lovey: !!!! :D

Composition leaves them all very centred, pp-crops could bring about a certain variation of this centredness, when focussing them centrally was first priority upon taking these, but other than that (and other than some insects being dead) there are some really close close-ups here, and nice colours.

Maybe you find this_thread interesting, too? (There are better insect photos, mostly so be tpe and TCImages, but since I don't have a true macro lens........................ ) Or this_one ?

I Dont have a "macro lens" either, I'm using a Compact point and shoot cannon XUSU i 4mp

I hope you werent the one who killed these poor creatures just to take pictures of them ^^ well very nice and sharp pictures and I agree that they would be far more interesting if they were alive even though it may be much harder to capture them in photos

Nah, you find them like that all over the tiles in my back yard

Im a big fan of my telephoto, while not true 1:1 macro. It does a damn fine job!
