There is a difference between dark, and....well that.

Maybe with some cool lighting and camera positioning you could evoke a different reaction from the viewer other than " stupid "

Oh and it really doesn't give me quivers... it makes me want to take the knife, stand you up, smack you in the back of the head and say " what were you thinking "...lol :)

I'm going to have to go with the crowd.
Plus, it looks like a snapshot...
    Very uninteresting...
    Sorry.
I'm sure it could be better, if the knife were somewhere else on his body...there was tasteful blood...and perhaps really dramatic lighting...without a face for him..
    I dono...
that's usually how dark pictures are done.
This kind of looks like a myspace pic.

Theres really no creativity here. Maby you can salvage the idea and use different lighting, different pose, different effect. The point, scrap it and try again. It just does not convey any emotion. It is a little too direct to the point.

I would think that if someone was going to cut their wrists, they probably wouldn't do it crouching in (what looks like) their living room.

 Yikes...I hope my photos dont make people wanna off themselves. Personally I thought my nature shots were o.k :er: Please forgive me if any of my darkside shots offend anyone.

I think if you want this to work...try a different lighting or pose or even switch up the scene. A lot of times the up front, suicide, blood, gore and all that is not what makes a photos. Many times it is what you dont see, that gets your brain wondering that makes a photo give you a shiver. Maybe try something that gives a double meaning of your idea, or that always asked question...What if.

oh..I got a basement full of props if you need anything.
