Hello, all.

Recently picked up an F4.
Ran a roll of Kodak 200 through it to see how it was working.

Looks like I have a consistent problem of a horizontal line running through all the photos.

What do you think? Light leak?
If so, does anyone recommend a place to send the camera for repair?

Let me know your thoughts.
Thank you,

Looks more like a scanner or scratch issue.

Too sharp to be a light leak. That's a film scratch. Could be from the camera but more likely from the film processor.

Roller transport film developing is great for scratches like that. This is most definitely not a light leak problem...it's a scratch. A pretty good-sized one too.

Thanks for the replies guys.
I had a look at the negatives themselves and I don't think the line is there. I'll have a look under a loop to see better.

After inspection:
Yes, I think the issue was from the scan. The negatives look clean.

Ohhh, what a neat image, seen through the loupe! That would make a cool Instagram filter....popular with older photographers.
