Hello everyone
I know this is going to sound the wrong way round, but a friend wants me to do some jewellery shots for his jewellery website and he sent me a light tent yesterday (it is from calumnet). I have never used one before and in fact never done macro photography before. Can anyone point me to a website with some basic lighting approaches? (or suggest any on here?) Currently I have 2 studio flashes (people call them strobes a lot on here, I am assuming they are the same thing) either side , at about 90 degree. I am sure having a play but any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

without knowing what tent it is makes it a bit tough to tell you how to set up your lights.
My suggestion would be to find pictures of jewelry online and take note about what you like/dislike about them.
You should be able to tell most everything about the lighting that was used in the pics so just base your lighting off of that and you should be good to go!
