Lighting with flashlight...

Last time I was at the beach at dusk I fooled around a bit with the low light conditions- using the only light source I had available- my cell phone. (besides the on camera flash, which i hardly use). Anyway, I was wondering if there were such things as special flashlights that are meant to put out pure white light... as you can see in the picture, our faces are a bit blue I think. I couldn't find anything off hand via google or searching around on B&H.

EXIF: 3min exposure, f/22, ISO1600 (I think next time I wouldn't stop it down this much, and thereby allow use of ~ISO400 maybe... but Noise Ninja cleaned it up nicely- still grainy though, which works OK)

I have used LED lights before with great affect. There lights are bright white.

mind pointing out which one(s) you've used? I used an LED Maglite, and it was even more blue than my phone was (and you had to be careful not to drown everything out with all those lumens!)

I know a few wedding photographers who use small, hand held video lights.
