Lightning storm

    Can others edit my Photos:

    Here's what I think is the best of a small group of acceptable shots I got the other night during a pretty spectacular storm that rolled though the area.

    Any insights or pointers into how to better capture this sort of thing?

    Thoughts on this photo or the rest of the set at the URL below?

    Photos NOT OK to edit
    higher f/stop. Lower ISO. Set to bulb, use a tripod and remote. Well composed, which is unusually difficult for lightning shots. :D

    Thanks. Now to wait for the next storm...shouldn't be long this time of year.

    I did eventually go to a higher aperature later on...but never even thought to get out the tripod...DOH!

    As you can probably guess, all were handheld while I tried to guess where to look next...of course the next strike is always everywhere BUT where you're looking. :grumpy:
