More wildflowers. Not sure what these are, anyone know? I'd like both general comments & technical critique. Thanks :sillysmi:

Okay, now that's out of my system, here we go. C&C per req:
    1. Nice sharp image, but I'm not sure I like the angle. I think maybe this one would have worked better shot more from the side. I'd also suggest cloning out the bit of bloom in the upper LH corner, it's distracting and ruins an otherwise perfect background.
    2. Very nice, but I think a closer crop; the bottom half of the image doesn't really add much.
    3. Ehhh... not sure this one works at all. The angle doesn't really show off the bloom and there's too much "stuff" in the lower half.
Just my $00.02 worth - your milage may vary.

Sorry! Next time I'll try to wait a full 24 hours before I bump. :D

Thanks for the thoughtful comments. I agree about the flower in the background on #1 and if I ever get the skill to do that sort of thing I would. On #2, I was trying to keep the little leaves in the shot cause I liked their color, but since they aren't the focus I suppose I could lose some of the left one. On #3, again the crop was probably due to me trying to keep the largest leaf in the shot.... hope this doesn't seem defensive at all, my intentions are only to explain why I did what I did originally. :sillysmi:

Not at all - what it says to me is that you have a very definite idea about how you want your images to turn out, and you work toward that.

(Oh, and that supper comment was a joke! ;) )
