Lily in the Shade

Just trying some shots in different lighting situations. More to follow.
This is a Water Lily hidden from the sun by the pond wall.

Details; ISO 200; Shutter 1/8 sec; Aperture f16; Focal length 162mm; origional file RAW size 3.85BM

I origionally cropped the shot to leave the subject occupying one third of the frame, and put the Lily in its proper context.

But there will be those who will think that the rule of thirds is not applicable in this situation, and so I've cropped again for comparison.

Very very nice. Both are excellent, but I think the 2nd one (uncropped) is outstanding.
