Golly, I can't name a favorite song. My list would take up pages... I'll say 'anything by Pink Floyd', but really I like so many bands and songs. Floyds the best tho.

A truly great song. Slug is a genius.

Tough question though. Sticking with the modern era I might go with "Fake Empire" from the National and "Half-Cocked Concepts" from P.O.S. Going back further it might be Dylan's "Like a Rolling Stone". Can change any day though.
