    I am always amazed how the smaller of the visitors seem determined to get their beaks in whatever the size of the other patrons at the restaurant.

    Fortunately this one has to stick to ground or table and waits, looking hopefully up for the fallout from the feeder.

    Yeah, looks like in inequality of bargaining power in that first shot (does the feeder not tilt with the weight difference?) And you don't often post pics of pigeons...are they a rare visitor?

    Usually woodpidgeons about as well as flocks of collared doves that clear the table. Resorted to sacks of wheat from the farm at the back to put down to distract them! Now getting frequent visits from up to five pheasants up on the patio as well as a one-legged magpie.

    How marvelous!!! They come right up onto the patio??!!
