How do you make a kid smile? ANy ideas or tips? This girl just would NOT smile no matter how hard I tried.

I think that first one would look awesome in al color. I know for parents selective coloring is almost always enjoyed but I could see that one looking awesome in color.
And the second one the angle sort of makes the wings look too small or somethign like if they were pointed upwards they might seem more fitting.
And YES i have had MANY kids who refuse to smile - I know all about that - I usually tell them "Don't smile" and they do or else I give them a whole bunch of time while shooting and hoping to get a good one and talking to them about things kids their age would be interested in talking about then they get comfortable enough to be happy with the rest of the session.
