i love how number one turned out. i like using this technique for bands, and i also know how hard it is to make sure you balance between getting the motion and making a clean image. 1 turned out great. very clean, with awesome movement. a pity there are people behinde him, but oh well.

im interested in photographing concerts, so i have to ask how you get that cool blur effect.

flash exposure with a slow shutter speed. the flash freezes an image and then the ambient light continues to expose the subject as they move, creating a trail.
