Loads of my old pictures are blurry???

Yes, I had obviously seen the first already, and I wrote a comment to your idea on the second just now. By the look of things I come to the conclusion that when starting so high on any learning curve as you did, it cannot be steep any longer... with me it had ALL the options there were to rise!!!
 
Sometimes my emotional reaction to the subject or the memory of "being there" can interfere with my ability to judge the photo's quality.

These kinds of photographs should never be deleted as far as I'm concerned. Photos with emotiional reactions are just as valuable to a person as a technically perfect photograph. Don't delet them, you'll only regrett it.

I took some great pictures in spain using a Centon K100. Just never got round to scanning them. When I look at my digital shots taken during the same trip I start wondering what I was smoking when I took them (just a joke, I never touch drugs) because the quality wasn't nearly as good as that from my Centon.
