Well, I would brighten them up somehow.. Adjust the exposure or something on it. I personally dont care much for the 3rd shot. Most of everything is cut off in the picture.

Play with the levels and such on the first 2 and see what you come up with.

they just seem very boring and flat. Live shots are tricky because of the horrific lighting but gotta be able to work with what you have.

third one really just looks like a snapshot, theres nothing really standing out

cheerz for the comments will work on them a bit when i have time

i go nuts with my cam on live shots as i have only the in built flash on my canon s5 and i wanna pick up the true colours without increasing the ISO too much or the exposure! next thing is ask the lighting guy to use more powerful lights! lol

chances are if these are small clubs they aren't gonna quite care about the lights, also remember the musicians are exerting a lot of energy more lights mean more heat means more sweat. pick up a flash unit. if you dont have much to spend I've got the sunpak 383 and i like it. it'll take some getting use to but it will allow you to better expose your shots. Also open up your aperture to allow more light, just don't get too small of a dop
