    Young Loggerhead Shrike photo taken this morning.
    Cute looking little bird, but known also as the "butcher bird"
    Note the hooked beak like other birds of prey.

    Awesome shot. I just learned a couple months ago how nasty these cute little tufts of feathers can be. Sort of reminds me of the rabbit in Monty Python's, Holy Grail.

    I keep thinking anout this shot- Probably because all my loggerhead shots are so crummy, but maybe this would have worked much better in a vertical format.

    I like it, just the other birds head is what my eyes keep going to.
