This is one of my favorite shots of Hope...I love her eyes.
Beautiful i love the depth they have.
Me, too...she has amazing eyes and skin. I'll have to post pictures of her two sisters...they all look so very different from one another that you'd never guess they were related! Each one of them has very distinct features.
gorgeous... bet mum & dad love it... she is divine... and i am a sucker for close ups! the colours are great x
Thanks! Her parents haven't even seen it yet...I'm so excited! I am meeting with her dad on Monday.
You are really doing a wonderful job with the focus and closeup crops. This shot would make any professional proud to display it in their portfolio. Well done!
This is excellent. The tilt of her head, the color of her skin and hair.....and do I need to say it?.....those eyes. Those eyes are telling stories from of a kind, gentle old soul. I keep scrolling back up mesmerised, waiting for the wisdom to be imparted.
Thank you so much! Close-ups are always my favorites with people and/or nature. I love my 60mm/2.8 micro lens...it's almost all I ever use!
You are so right about her eyes, K.
Thank you both for such kind comments...I really value and respect your opinions.
Try closing down the lens a couple of stops and she might all be sharp focussed, your too close for a wide open lens. H
Thanks for your input. I really like having just her eyes as the main focus of the shot...just my personal preference.
You over-saturated the reds in postprocessing and it shows up in a negative way around the eyes, the right ear, the edge of the right side of the face, and very visibly in the shadow in the neck area.
The solution would have been a lighter degree of saturation in the first place. Selective saturation or now selective correction of the problem areas.
Thanks for your c&c!
