Looking for ideas

I'm looking for ideas on how to make this image "creepier", if possible.

I use GIMP, but I'm open to all ideas and suggestions. Also, I've heard of a process called "grunge"...could that be applied here?

Nice picture fist of all. You could bump down the brightness some and add some vignette to increase the "spookiness." A small child looking out the window never hurts as well

You might try a higher angle, and try to avoid blowing the sky. Perhaps shoot on a cloudy but not overcast day.

u could use a texture like this one to overlay it on the pic and giove it some grunge.

Katy625- I like the look of that, and thanks for the link! I tried it using a different texture, but I can't figure out how to apply it to the house only, and not the sky.

I also used the "old photo" filter, and it looks cool, but I feel its too generic.
