Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
I recently got Photoshop CS3 Extended and am having a hard time figuring it all out. Any 'basic' must knows? I have figured out cropping, resizing, the band-aid tool.. and messed around with some of the filters.

I would love to learn how to add my logo to the images (or a watermark).
Also, to add two images together.. side by side.

Anyone? Help..

(Thanks in advance!)

im oldschool i use paint BUT you can find a lot of info in the help section or search google

Photoshop is a very large and involved program. I'd suggest getting a good or two. Most of the Photoshop book that I've seen are very good at explaining the basics. Photoshop for Dummies comes to mind, check it out.

One word: Histogram. Whether you're shooting in RAW or jpg, the use and control of the histogram is the single most commonly misunderstood and neglected adjustment you have to work with in any image editing program.

I've explained it in some detail in my tutorial (here) http://www.jimsdigitaldiary.com/photoshop.html

My example is built on Photoshop Elements, since most of my students these days are beginners. But the facts are the same for all versions of PS.
