for me, the lighting doesnt work here. She blends into the background too much. Was she standing right up against the backdrop? If this is what you were going for, SPOT ON.

Yeah I have others from the series where I wanted her to pop out more. For this one, I wanted her just kind of oozing out of the night.

She was standing about five feet in front of an enormous chestnut tree in the middle of the afternoon. Simulation of night was just a function of flash and exposure.

From the same shoot, totally different look.

Who said it didn't jump? I have unretouched outtakes...

The mystery dog wrangler is Elaine Harrison, the brilliant MUA who helped put Eteri's look together and brought the dog and wardrobe with her.

This look is a reaction to me directing her (jokingly) to take the piece of meat in her hand that the dog didn't manage to get, and clinch it between her teeth and tug on it in a playful manner.

I like the vibrancy of the blue dress and the surreal quality of the shot, but for me the skin on her face is unnatural looking - looks like maybe you did some smoothing in post and went a bit too far with it.

What a cool series! The only thing I'm not digging are the blowouts on her face. They aren't there in your unprocessed outakes. They're just a bit distracting for me...

YES! Although I cannot compare, I believe this looks better. The details of the dress can be seen, and the skin is smoother!
