I got an XTi last weekend.
I was very hesitant to get a digital camera for a long time.
I told myself that if a situation ever came up that I would need one (ie: taking pictures at an event where lugging film around would be a HUGE pain in the arse) then I would get a digital.
And the situation arose!
I started out taking jpegs. I soon realized that I couldnt get the color as vibrant as I wanted. So I switched over to RAW.
WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!!
I can't wait until tonight. The local fair is in town and we're going to see the chuckwagon races. I just know that I will come home with at least a few great pictures.
I will start posting them as soon as I can!!!
One thing that sorta ticked me off though... the digital body is slightly thicker than my film body, making it very difficult to do the zipper up on my new camera bag. It could be time for an upgrade already. Grr.
