    Some one else (i cant remember who) started a thread with these in it a few months ago, apparently theyre extremely rare. Theyre definately one of the best looking flying insects out there.

    They're really not that rare, I see one a year or so.

    Yeah, i looked it up right after i saw this and it didnt say anything about rarity. apparently they live where i live.. i havent had the luxury of seeing one yet.

    Very nice shots. I've never see a Luna Moth in the wild.......a few IO's, but no Lunas.
