lurking in our pond

Hey all this is my first time posting a picture up on here so sorry if the standards are not really that great but i am kinda new to photography.
Anyways me and my fathre were working in our garden when we noticed something moving around in our pond,much to both our suprise it was a frog,so i belted inside and grabbed my camera and heres what i captured.

as you can see at first he seemed a little camera shy and didnt want to pose for me,but after a while he seemed to get a bit more curious and decided to venture out of his hiding place.

as i said i know there not the greatest shots but im still trying to get used to using all the settings on my camera.

These are great. I like em !
I like the first shot in particular .... finding the frog in the midst of the leaves is the cool aspect , that element of surprise to hold interest.

I think you're either not confident in your photography or you're being modest

...
