M44 x 0.75 Thread???

Hi, I have a scope with a M44x0.75 objective thread. I'm trying to do 2 things
i) get a screw-in UV filter
ii) attach a 2x telezoom
I've done some search on the web but I had zero luck finding anything with a 44mm thread. Lots of 43mm stuff though...Am I doing something wrong? Is there a conversion ring I can use or any products with such a thread? I would appreciate any help.
