does anyone know what's causing the green/pink outlines on the numbers? I suspect it may be a defect causing cromatic aberrations, but I don't want to jump to conclusions because this is the first time I shot with a flash. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!

I thought it was CA too but as you only get it with flash it may be some sort of reflected light? Tough one.

try taking the pic again at a smaller aperture and on a tripod.

EOS_JD: I had some light coming from my computer monitor when I shot this so that could be it. Also I tried it with another lens and it had the same effect except the colors were blue and yellowish

DSLR noob: Thanks for the advice, I'll try it once I get home tonight

    Sw1tchFX: Done

    Thanks guys
