Macro Newbie!

Hey everyone, I'm very happy to be here! I've been doing photography since my sophomore year in high school nearly 10 years ago. I have just recently become very interested in macro photography & I'm here hoping to receive advice & critiques on my work just to better myself as a "hobby" photographer. If one day I decide to sell my work it will probably be microstock but I have a long way to go before I reach that point.

I'm currently a pharmacy technician of 4 years & photography is my hobby & therapy after a hard day!

Welcome, this is the place to learn. I'm new to macro photography as well. Bought my 1st 1:1 macro lens a couple of weeks ago. It's tough, and light is very, very important. I would advise you to check out Kurt's website. He has many thread's in the Macro forum....
