Hi, I have just purchased a Raynox Macro Converter Lens after a recommendation from someone on this forum. The four pictures are the result of some tests I performed. Pictures one - three were taken with the same settings, Ok the focus is not spot on. The supplementary lenses were 3 close up lenses adding up to 7 dioptre. The fourth is taken at the f717’s closest macro setting, I am quite happy with the results of the test. Looking forward to trying it out, on a more interesting subject. Ernie

Really great example of how these lenses work! Thanks for sharing, I have a feeling we'll be getting some in the near future.

Thankyou Alison, I reckon you could be right, I will certainly be working very hard towards it. Ernie

I'm guessing it is the wick of a candle.
