Was very pleasant today along the Pacific Coast here in Northern California with sunny blue skies, temps in 60s, and hardly a breeze. I did some work on the shoreline including trying to capture an image of pebbles magnified by surf bubbles that I'd first done about a year ago. Yet again was not fast enough to to expose a good 4x5 image of this fleeting phenomenon but did get another very nice shot with my 7mp Coolpix. ...David

That is one awesome shot man! I like how the bubbles and rocks stand out. I like the entire thing. 10/10!

Wow. This is ever so good!

I love it!

Worth a nomination for POTM, I say! :D

Very nice! I'll have to attmept something like that next time I'm at the beach.

Thanks folks, its amazing how some of the little things we take for granted around us hold such untapped secrets despite millions of people exploring about with cameras. A related phenomenon this image barely shows is beautiful hues of constructive interference wavelength effects from sunlight ala kids blowing soap bubbles. To see some of my closeups of surf bubbles on pebbly shores select images of seashore closeups on my below slideshow subpage. ...David
