These were shot in the morning with wind gusts moving into our area. I held onto the branch to keep it from bobbing so much and it helped to move the blossom to get a different background. Waited between wind gusts to take the photos except for #2.

I think your first shot is the better of the 3.

I agree and it is more in focus compared to the other two. That one is f/3.5 and I've read on this forum that it is about 2 stops from the widest is the sharpest. Correct? The lens is the 50mm f/1.4. Thanks.
 
Gotta love the wind when your trying to keep things still. (Not!)
I love magnolias, well done.
