Nice one. We don't see it was taken in the twilight. Could have been a cloudy day, too. (But sure made taking this one more difficult for you than we now get to see). You applied USM?
A bit of USM since it was RAW. Below is the original.
It is always partially these days in area around Kilauea volcano with VOG (Volcano fog) since it is erupting with gas at the summit. This was taken at the edge of the Kau desert. Additionally, the area this was taken the sun was shielded by the bulk of Mauna Loa volcano.
Below is the original untouched, uncropped RAW picture (converted to JPG and sized to 600x400) with no sharpening for your viewing pleasure (or displeasure).
You can see how you need a GOOD photo to begin with so you can "make some more of it" in PP, but can't really "save" or "rescue" anything that went wrong to begin with. The edit is nicer, no doubt, but that's why you did it, right?
