Cost aside, the reasons to get the Mark III are the 10 fps speed, more complex AF, built-in cleaning technology, etc. The reasons to get the 5D are the larger sensor and better wide angle shots.
If you're not a sports photographer and don't need the speed, is there any reason based on image quality to get the Mark III over the 5D?
I guess you could wait until EOS 1 series comes out with a full sized sensor to get the best of both worlds...for a lot of money?
