thisis one of my latest longbows i have made, the picture was taken outside of my shed at my old home, because i cat take longbows on a plane i had to give it to the archery club

Wow, looks powerful. What distance would an arrow go?

depends on the bow, more than 100 metres, the faster the bow moves back to the "normal" position ie when the string isnt being pulled, then the further it goes.

some of the kids bows sometimes go further because of the speed, that one in the pic goes about 150 metres
