Nice shots. How did you get such dark backround and gray tones for the skin? They're great!.
And, what program did you use to make that signature?

I use a black polar fleece blanket as a background which comes in handy when babies pee on them. LOL Those images were all run through Kubota's Daily Multi Vitamin and Magic Sharp as well as Imogenic's portraiture filter. The black and white conversions are Kubota's Warm and Snappy GM2.

My usual tech details are... 580 ex on camera (5d) set to -2/3 with a second 580 ex set to -2 (slave mode) as a separator light. My studio has natural light from 2 skylights as well.

These are lovely. Maybe a little less vignette on the 1st? The 2nd is beautiful, did you catch a newborn smile there? So cute. The 3rd is my favorite, although I'd love to see a slight tilt so the head is just slightly above the bottom.
