Hello All,
So my friend is a DJ who mixes some legit techno-trance. recently he had a gig in central spokane and so i came along and shot some stuff with my wee lil d40 [i want a d90 or d200 SOOOOO bad; but alas i am a poor college dude] . Also i had my dad's old strobe flash from a pentex SLR and that really made the shots amazing (i had to use the internal flash last year and it kinda of sucked). I had never used a strobe before so i really had no idea what i was doing, although i am really proud of my shots (there was another photographer there who had like $800 of equipment over me and i think my shots are very much better) ..
well enough chit chat, here are some of the goods (i think ill post a few every few days, as i continue editing them, sorry the quality is low, i am using facebook for hosting purposes..)
feel free to critique and slam me, i do not mind honest feedback- it makes me better.. the one thing i wish i had done was get more faces in the crowd, and use a longer exposure to capture some ambient light. also the 'noise' is from all the smoke, my ISO was at 200 (i know not to make that common club photo mistake..)
anywho- here are the first few
