This is a picture of our new Puppy, Rozz (after Rozz Williams). HE WAS originally called BRONSON! After Charles Bronson! Until we found out HE was actually a SHE and not a HE as we'd originally been led to believe!! But hey!

She's adoreable! She picked us! She was the one that jumped out from 8 pups and we finally got her home on Sunday!

She is a mixed breed, rediculously loveable and loving, she rarely barks, she pees on my carpet and she was an instant hit with the children!

Say hello to Rozz...

Okay Lisa, what's the deal. Are you actually running a zoo out of your home??!!

She's another beautiful addition to the lineup of critters living with you. The first shot is terribly sweet (those sad looking eyes!)

Heh! I know! Tell me about it! The Zoo thing, i mean! I'll have to start charging for admission soon!!!

Seriously though, it has been just crazy here in the past week. I think at one point we had a box turtle, 45 snakes (42 of them babies!) 1 iguana and a puppy!!

We took the Turtle all the way up to a rescue centre because a friend of ours found him and he didn't look well. We treated him for a while but he just wasn't getting the care he needed so we tracked down a reputable place - you wouldn't believe the trouble we had finding somewhere!! Box turtles are illegal to keep and so we obvioulsy couldn't really do much with him, but you can't let them free unless you let them free in the place they were born and lived because they have this rediculous homing instinct which leads them back there - if they are far away they will just walk and not eat or survive so well and maybe get hit by a car! So anyway, we took him into this place, they said he was at deaths door, he was so sick. They said he won't be well again for at least a year!!! Then they'll call us and we can talk about taking him back to where he was found or finding a place to take him in permenently.

The iguana story you already know, im sure :)

The snakes were found outsied my husbands work and one of them mated with the other in a sneaky little fashion and hey presto! 42 babies! It was a bit nuts. We set them free somewhere safe though.

The puppy is a product of a friends dogs. They had like 9 puppies! They are SO adoreable!! One of them was a big fat wrinkly thing and he was a bright sand colour! Ours is obviously brindle, and the smaller of the few brindle ones, but she is PERFECT!!

I do love animals but i think we have enough now!! :D

We'll always take in more if we need to though!!! Thats just the kind of people we are! We can't help ourselves!
