A few weeks ago I headed up to Mennonite Country (a 75 minute drive from downtown Toronto) to see the covered wooden bridge at West Montrose. Moments after I arrived, just before the sun set, a Mennonite buggy came through the bridge and I was able to snap a picture of it. I was surprised they were in an open buggy, given how cold it was. Shortly after, a covered buggy came through.

I like the composition in the first one. Everything-down to the shadows of the rope and mounds of snow- lead your eye to the buggy. Neat subject- not something you see everyday.:)

Using the shadow/highlights tool on both of this will give add much interesting detail to your pictures.

The first is a winner for me. The sky is so blue and has a nice reflection on the snow. The composition is nice.

I LOVE the first one - it's perfect.

I see your images are ok to edit so the second one I rotated just a teeny bit and sharpened the tree and the buggy and it looks really neat but I like it the way it is too.
    VERY COOL!

Ooh very nice capture! The first is my favorite as well, the way the light hits the buggy is lovely!

Hey, thanks Traveler. I've never used that tool and will have to play around with it, now that I see what a difference it can make.

Thanks to everyone for your comments.
