not bad, perhaps a slower shutterspeed to give the main rotor a sense of motion....just my thought and perhaps a bit more DOF.

Yeah.

To tell you the truth I don't even remember the settings on this one, I was preocupied with trying out this lens after having bought it, When I woke up to this flight sitting in the back yard (just about) I just grabbed the camera and lens and ran, got there, grabbed a couple shots and watched it leave. I did not consider any pizzaz for the final image.

That also played a big part in not processing it for two weeks. Additionally there are some processing expariments involved in this one too.

This photo was one giant test subject so "Not bad" is a good thing.
