Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
i took the photo of my dorm building, one with -2 exposure, one with normal exposure and one with +2 exposure.

but when i try to "Merge to HDR" in PhotoShop, it shows the following error message

"There is not enough dynamic range in these photos to construct a useful HDR image".

Kindly tell me what I did wrong. I really love HDR photos and wanna do one, but its not working for me. Do I have to set the exposure down and up or is it better if i use shutter speed up and down for my HDR photos?

Thanks in advance

-2 EC is only 2/3 of one stop and thus the dynamic range of the picture is not very large.

Use manual exposure and do 1, 2 and 3 stops + normal (+ 6 in the EC), changing the shutter speed only (if you change apreture it changes DOF) and you will get sufficient dynamic range.

Do a search for HDR101 on the web and read that site.

i'm biased, and I say use photomatix.
