Recently i discovered some nice looking borders that i would like to use with a few images.

The files are in PDF form.

Opening PS makes my eyes glaze over so i am lost as to how to use with a photo.

I opened the PDF file and opened a photo and played around a bit with layers, thinking i could mege them together , but alas and alack it just isn't happening.

Can someone send me to some help or provide a simple step by step method?

I have spent a lot of time on google but haven't found anything along these lines.

    thanks

Use layers, have your picture as the background, open the border, select all, use the move tool click n drag the border onto your picture, if its too small, go edit, free transform, click n drag to resize, click on another tool, this opens the transform dialogue box, click apply, if you now have a border your happy with, go layers, flatten image, sharpen n you're done.
